Since 2018, Clínica Abreu has positioned itself as a leader in technological solutions for the diagnosis and monitoring of oncological diseases. This has been possible thanks to the development of our state-of-the-art PET-CT and Nuclear Medicine service, managed and operated by CDD IMÁGENES (CLINICORP IMÁGENES DOMINICANA SRL), a pioneer group in introducing this study modality in Latin America by installing the fourth PET-CT equipment in the world at its headquarters in Las Mercedes, Caracas, Venezuela, in 2002.
By combining advanced technology with the expertise of our highly trained professionals and the vast international experience of the group, we provide our patients with the best possible medical care. We use modern and precise tools in the field of nuclear medicine, comparable only to the platforms existing in the reference medical centers of the United States and the European Community. This has made us leaders in quality and attention to this type of studies in the Dominican Republic.
Our advanced PET-CT equipment allows us to obtain high-quality images in minimal time, speeding up the diagnosis and treatment process. In nuclear medicine, we use advanced gammagraphy techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of various pathologies, offering our patients accurate and reliable results. Our facilities are designed to provide a comfortable and safe environment for all our patients, with a rigorous focus on hygiene and biosecurity. Our team of nuclear physicians, radiologists and technicians are highly trained and committed to excellence in patient care.
To ensure that our technology is accessible to the greatest number of people, we work with all ARSs on their basic, contributory, complementary, international and state-subsidized care plans.
Currently, we have two branches at our main headquarters in Gazcue and in the Bella Vista Sector.
