We offer top-level Cardiology services for accurate diagnosis and the most up-to-date and modern treatment of heart diseases such as high blood pressure, arrhythmias, heart failure and coronary artery disease.
For them, we have expert Cardiologists committed to the health of our patients and who have at their disposal state-of-the-art equipment such as echocardiogram, cardiac echo strain, 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, arrhythmia Holter, conventional Stress Test, Stress Test with cardiac gammagraphy.
In addition to treating heart disease, the Cardiology Unit makes a special effort to prevent it through cardiovascular prevention, offering our patients timely diagnosis and treatment of conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol (dyslipidemia), diabetes, overweight, and sedentary lifestyle. We also have the support of specialists in the areas of nutrition and endocrinology. We encourage education and active participation of patients in their own care, providing resources for a healthy lifestyle.
We also have a pre-surgical evaluation consultation for those patients who will undergo surgery and other procedures that require sedation and who are routinely asked for a prior cardiology evaluation.
We have very sophisticated studies such as coronary tomography and the Coronary Calcium Score for the noninvasive detection of heart artery disease and a Hemodynamics department, equipped with a digital angiograph, with which we perform interventions such as cardiac catheterization, coronary angioplasty and stent implantation.
For those patients seeking care for an acute cardiac event, such as myocardial infarction, hypertensive emergencies, arrhythmias or stroke, we have a modern Emergency Service, an Intensive Care Unit of the highest level, which together with the Cardiology Unit and the Hemodynamics Department, allows for the comprehensive care of our patients from the moment of their admission.
